Talks

Persistive can provide a speaker for a multitude of events, on a wide range of historical subjects pitched at just the level for your audience. Whether you are organising a regular or  annual general meeting of your club, society or institute or a corporate or special one-off event Persistive can add historical interest and drama to your proceedings. Let us know a little about your event, your audience and their general interest and we will suggest an array of subjects from which you can choose and adapt to your requirements. We can also provide the IT to illustrate the event through pictures, sound and film.

"It must have cost you a good deal of hard work to put such an interesting package together...Thank you so much, I am really grateful for your efforts in contributing to such a successful event." 70th Anniversary of Airborne Forces, 2010

Walks

Persistive can take you on a walk through history. With one of our expert guides and speakers you can discover local history on foot. Guided history walks can focus on an array of historical subjects and events that influenced your local area. Through careful research and engaging presentation our guides can put you on the spot where past events, major and minor, changed the course of local and national history. We can describe how life has changed: people, industry, architecture and show you what remains to be seen to this day. Subjects can include the influence of the First and Second World War and the resulting ebb and flow of humanity, the legacy of defence and the damage wrought from the air. We can describe the sacrifice of your local population interpreted through memorials and war graves. Or why not look at the rise and fall of local industry, even town planning through the ages. All walks can include visits to relevant sites and museums. Let us know your requirements and we will organise a fascinating stroll through history to suit your time, interest and budget.

"A well organised and informative visit - very interesting." Guided Walk of Lowestoft Cemetery, May 2011
